Care of Jewelry

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time, especially when exposed to moisture, chemicals, or air.

We recommend using a silver jewelry polishing cloth to maintain shine and remove tarnish.
Clean your Navajo Pearls regularly with a designated silver cleaning cloth — preferably after each wear. You can find our polishing cloths under the “More Products” tab.
Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, applying lotion, self-tanner, or using harsh chemicals.
Makeup, hairspray, perfume, and lotion can speed up tarnishing, so it's best to put your jewelry on last when getting ready.
Never use solvent, liquid jewelry cleaners, or steam cleaners, as they can damage your jewelry.
Store your pieces in a jewelry box or drawer lined with anti-tarnish cloth or use anti-tarnish bags to slow oxidation.
